[What it's Like in Japan]

short and sweet

makes me think that maybe I could start doing flash. I liked the song but it was short obviously. and it went well with the animation. I wish you had put in more of the mario/real life images in there. but whatever it was still pretty good.

it was okay

needs some more work. the main problems I saw was that the frame rate was too slow, the text moved by to fast to read, and some of the sound effects got annying and repetative.

Thanks for the tip. As for the sounds, I looked for decent DBZ sounds to spice up the fighting, but I could not find any! Iv'e seen tons of sprite movies with DBZ sounds, but they never tell me where they got them when I ask!
But I'll keep looking when I make the sequel.

new and interesting idea

I've seen things like this done with the windows noises, and movie quotes. But this one was really cool. At times it did get repetative, but that was only because of the music artists. The animation went along nicely with the music, and I respect your idea to use stick guys instead of screen shots of the 3D characters. Good job.

a few improvements could be made

a few improvements you could have made:
1) have the movements be faster, I understand thats hard to do with action figures but just dont spend so much time on one movement.
2) add in blood
3) add a story line
4) add a fatality at the end, that would have been cool.

Yeah, I know it was a bit slow. I was going to add some blood with clay, but I wasn't sure if you'd be able to see it. The problem with the fatality is that Liu Kang has a lame fatality in the first game, and this is based on the first game. I plan on making a Kano vs. Sonya this summer, and it will have a fatality.

great job

I really liked this, especialy the style and the graphics. it looks like the full story will be really neat, a kid exploring a cube world on his round weeled bike, it looked like he would go back in time through all these different civilizations. there should be 6 episodes, 1 for each side of the world and he has to somehow find out the secret of the planet, I dunno just some ideas feel free to use them if you'd like, but you probably already have the whole story written. anyway I really liked this how it was like crayon drawings mixed with 3D animation. its like where art began and where it is now combined together, old with new.

I love that song

I love that song, although I've had it stuck in my head for a few months now. we played it in jazz band and the kid on drums took like a 10 min solo as the piano played that one part over and over along with the base, so I kinda have it memorized.

it made me smile, I liked it. sometimes I hide in my closet and act like the guy with absolutleyinsanebonkers whatever I cant remember what it was called syndrome. it was funny, maybe you could make a series about a group of insane people on an adventure looking for mentalax, and it takes them forever even though the pharmacy is right next to the insane assylum.

wow your first flash!

I love people like this who's first flashes are amazing for firsts. hell this is pretty decent hands down. I liked the song but I dont think it fits the genre, but it was still an okay choice. I will be so pissed if this gets blammed.

yeh the song isn't the best really, i was using it while i was making it and once i finished i couldn't imagine any other song for it. I would have been pretty pissed if this had been blammed too, after all the work i put into it

nice work, I like this animation because I know how hard it is to do something like this. correct me if Iam wrong but I believe that technique you used was rotoscoping. its easier to appreciate something if you've tried it before. you may not appreciate plumbing or pole vaulting very much, but once you've tried it, and realized how hard it is to use a "snake" to unclog a toilet, or use a large bendy pole to jump large distances and heights, you appreciate it more, or atleast the people who do it. I gave this a one in violence because when I saw the close up of the man hitting the blunt object against the wall, just after it hit, it looked as if he were shooting the man beside him in the head, and I gave it a one in humor for the same reason.
