nice start but...

a lot of things were missing to make it a good game. First thing I noticed were the controls were kind of annoying, you need to fix it so that you can walk diagonally and not just in a straight line. Also, the flashlight kind of sucked, instead of making it pitch black, it should have been a bit lighter so we can actually see where we are a little, or maybe add a circle of light around the character. The most annoying thing was the enemies, I walk into a room and I'm looking around trying to figure out where I'm supposed to go, and all of a sudden I hear this sound like a retard is humping me, and it takes me a couple seconds to realize I'm being attacked from behind, but I don't even know what the zombies look like, you should change it so the zombies start off farther away from the entrance to a level, and when they attack maybe the edge of the screen should flash red or something.

It had a good idea, and a good start though, just fix those few things and it will be a lot better.

very fun and challenging

kinda sucks if you have a bad mouse. But it was still very challenging and a lot of fun. I cant wait to see more of these games.

frustrating

apparently my camera really sucks, so I got pissed off and pointed it at the screen, and it popped every bubble. I dont know whats wrong but I cant pop any when I play it normal.

The game works by a difference in colour... maybe your hands are the same object as the background? I know that happened to me as well :D

almost perfect

its just missing a few things. unless there were easter eggs in this where you click somewhere and unlock something, this is missing a few things like the window tinting and the gun style and stuff like that. also there was a problem with the colors, it only colors the main body while the skirts and doors are left grey, or ugly olive color. this was still a fun game though.

it would have been nice to see some more effort put into this. it really only taught me how to draw something over a stickman, but I think this will help the noobs at flash. I think you should have shown the animation of the stickman and the character on the backround, it would add clarification and a nice visual so the "student" if you will, gets some entertainment out of the "lesson"

I didnt like this I thought it was crap, click on things and they die whoo. bad sound bad graphics no upgrades. I know its a demo but in order to make this good you'd have to start all over again.

SO FRUSTRATING

this game was fun but it was so frustrating, I think you knew that, which is why you gave us so many lives. it was frustrating because there was no thinking involved, the enemies were so cheap. but I dont think this is a horrible game its actually quite good. I really liked the story and the hand drawn graphics, you also did a nice job with the animation. I think the enemies need to be a bit easier, and maybe each boss could have some dialogue so you knew who they were or what kind of connection they had to the main character. good job.

Some good ideas there G-MAN. It is possible to play without getting hit if you use a lot of jumping attacks and run all the time - the enemies have to stop to attack. The shield gives it a slight element of strategy.

somehow satisfying yet frustrating

I dont understand how this game can be pretty good, yet so frustrating, I think the 2nd level is near impossible. it was a good idea but I think the combination of dolphins and obstacles made it a little hard, maybe one or the other, but not both. I also liked the different tricks, they looked pretty cool.

It's a game based on reaction timing, some people don't have that good of it and can't beat the first level. I based it so only the top few percentage of the people could beat it. Anyways, thanks for the good review!

this was a pretty good game

pretty good, I liked leveling up and choosing my wepeon, I could see a lot of elements from Otogi myth of demons for Xbox, and I'm sure you got the idea for the fairy type character from Zelda. the only problem I had was that when I finished a level or left an area and returned to another area my life was not replenished, this I did not like seeing as I had only 3 lives I believe. if the life bare regenerated after each level then this game would be a lot better. thank you, I hope these comments were useful to the author.

The caves are life replenishing and will give you life back after you leave any area. All you have to do is fly into them and collect the blue "caveflies". It is quite possible to play through the entire game without dying.
